About this filter
The Waterdrop WD-G2MRO is an RO replacement filter made by Waterdrop. It fits Waterdrop G2 series reverse osmosis systems. This cartridge serves as the reverse osmosis filter for your under-sink unit.
Reverse osmosis systems use a membrane and a small drain line to filter water. If you own a G2 system and your filter has reached its service life, this is the matching replacement.
Before you install
Always turn off the cold water supply before you change an under-sink filter. Have a small towel nearby to catch any stray drops when you take out the old cartridge.
After inserting the new filter, turn the water supply back on. Run some water through the new cartridge before you drink from it, following the flush steps on the box. If you do not feel comfortable doing basic plumbing work, hire a licensed plumber.
